Huynh, Malone, Wells Named Public Policy New Voices Fellows

Brighton Huynh, Hannah Malone, and Gabriela Wells have been selected to the 2024 cohort of Public Policy New Voices Fellows.

Over the next twelve months, Huynh, Malone, and Wells will collaborate and learn skills needed to maximize job readiness, cultivate a broad network and strengthen their resilience through fostering long-term relationships.

The Public Policy New Voices Fellowship Program is a collaboration among leading American public policy graduate schools, premier corporate public policy teams, and some of the most innovative global strategic advisory firms that supports and elevates graduate students of color pursuing careers in public policy. PPNV recognizes and works to challenge the structural barriers that prevent full representation and participation in policy-focused careers.

Second-year student Summer Lollie recently completed her Public Policy New Voices Fellowship, which included an internship with Disney.

The fellowship is an 18-session career-building program that delivers:

  • Building Block Skills: Essential skills needed to maximize job readiness and stand out during the job application process.
  • Network and Industry Exposure: Cultivates a broad network to provide industry exposure for fellows, maximizing opportunities during and after the program.
  • Cohort Connections: Creates a tight-knit Intra-Cohort Community to strengthen Fellows’ personal resilience and foster long-term relationships.
  • Internship Matching: Facilitates paid internship matching within PPNV partner organizations. Fellows receive application support when applying for internships; placement is not guaranteed.
