Posted by DEAN SKIP RUTHERFORD – Congratulations to Christine O’Malley and Patrick Creadon whose documentary film “I.O.U.S.A.” has made the top 15 “Best Documentary Feature Films” in the 2009 Academy Award competition. The top 15 were recently selected from 94 qualifying entries. The five Oscar nominees will be announced from this group on January 22 with the Academy Awards presented February 22.
Recently, Patrick was in Little Rock for the screening of “I.O.U.S.A” at the Clinton School. In addition to “I.O.U.S.A” and the popular documentary “WordPlay,” which was also screened at the Clinton School, Christine and Patrick produced the Clinton School video which is featured on the main page of our web site www.clintonschool.uasys.edu.
