Kevin Johnson, who spent 12 years in the league (mostly with Phoenix), will be the guest lecturer.
Johnson was recently elected mayor of Sacramento, Calif.
It costs nothing to hear him talk, although you should bring your lunch. Drinks will be provided, and it is best to reserve a seat by e-mailing publicprograms@clintonschool.uasys.edu or calling (501) 683-5239.
Johnson, known as a guy who could run a team almost flawlessly, is one of only three players in NBA history to average at least 20 points and 12 assists per game in a season.
Isiah Thomas and Magic Johnson are the other two.
