The Winthrop Rockefeller Institute, Central Arkansas Library System, and University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, as part of the Kettering Foundation’s Partnership for Democratic Practices in Arkansas, will host three online listening sessions in the coming weeks in which members of the public are invited to share how they view climate change and its effects on water sources in Arkansas.
These listening sessions are free and open to the public. Dates, times, and RSVP links are listed below:

Clinton School students will help facilitate and take notes at the listening sessions.
These facilitated sessions will explore how everyday Arkansans view climate change and its downstream effects on water in our state. This feedback about what is important around these issues from a citizen perspective will help build up a National Issues Forum issue guide. Once complete, this guide will be used nationwide to create structured conversations around water issues and encourage citizens to take part in policy discussions, regardless of party affiliation or viewpoint.
