Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Clinton School students were treated to a special session with Clark Jennings, a student at the UALR Bowen Law School who recently served on the White House advance team for President Obama’s secret trip to Baghdad.
Jennings showed photos and discussed the worldwind trip which came just after the president’s European visit to the G20 Summit. Jennings and four other White House representatives were among a handful of people to know about the trip in advance. He and his colleagues arrived in Baghdad several days before the president to prepare for the visit.
Jennings has long done advance work for several Democratic presidential candidates, including President Obama since February 2008. Additionally, he currently serves on the communcations staff of Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe.
