Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Clinton School students gathered Sunday night for a watch party to cheer on their classmate, Chanley Painter of Conway, the current Miss Arkansas USA, as she competed in the Miss U.S.A. pageant live on NBC. As of this writing, Chanely in the Top 10 of the competition and still going.
Painter is a member of the Clinton School class of 2010, and is completing the joint degree program with the UALR Bowen School of Law. A top student at both schools, Painter is also an Arkansas fiddle champion and black belt in martial arts. She joins representatives from all 50 states in Las Vegas for the competition. The winner will go on to compete for Miss Universe.
