Office of Community Engagement to Host Partner Fair on March 3

RSVP: Partner Fair

The Office of Community Engagement at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service will host its annual Partner Fair from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, March 3 at Sturgis Hall. Masks are required for all attendees.

The Partner Fair allows nonprofits, government agencies, businesses, and other organizations to talk with Clinton School students about potential field service projects and job opportunities.

Submit your RSVP by completing this form.

If you have additional questions, email Dr. Nichola Driver at nddriver@clintonschool.uasys.edu.

The first hour of the Partner Fair, from 9-10 a.m., is reserved for organizations with Capstone project ideas for the 2022-23 academic year. Organizations will have the opportunity to showcase Capstone ideas to current first-year Clinton School students.

Capstone projects, the final of three major field service projects at the Clinton School, take place during students’ second year and should allow for an immersive experience with an opportunity to exercise discretion in decision-making that extends beyond the mere execution of routine tasks. Past examples of Capstone projects include, but are not limited to, program design, tool-kit development, best-practice research, program evaluation, empirical research, and needs assessments.

During the second hour, from 10-11 a.m., organizations will have the opportunity to meet with second-year students who will graduate in May. This hour will allow for valuable networking experience and information gathering to students who are nearing graduation and are interested in working in Arkansas.
