Ongay Joins TRIO Talent Search at UA Little Rock

Clinton School graduate Adriana Ongay (’19) has joined TRIO Talent Search at UA Little Rock as a Project Program Specialist.

TRIO Talent Search is a federally funded pre-college program that provides support to middle school and high school students in Jefferson and Pulaski County. The services provided are geared toward helping students graduate and attain post-secondary education.

“As a Project Program Specialist, I have been able to further hone the skills I learned at the Clinton School of Public Service such as project planning and workshop development while combining my passion for accessible education,” Ongay said.

Additionally, Ongay will serve on the Board of Directors for Real Images, a nonprofit in Little Rock that focuses on empowering women and girls while building a supportive and inclusive community.

A native of Philadelphia, Pa., Ongay partnered with Real Images on her Capstone project. Her project involved developing an academic curriculum to empower girls through self-esteem-building workshops and covered topics that included self-image, media, relationships, and education and career planning.
