The Clinton School will be one of the venues for the Arkansas Literary Festival scheduled April 7-13. The Central Arkansas Library System today announced a schedule of more than 80 authors who will participate in this year’s event.

Thomas will give a lecture titled, “Bridges to the 21st Century: Calatrava Designs for Dallas,” about the city’s efforts to develop the 20-mile Trinity River corridor to better serve the public. A special feature of the redeveloped corridor is an iconic cable-stayed bridge designed by the internationally acclaimed architect Santiago Calatrava.

Clinton School student Elrina Frost is currently working with Winrock International to conduct a needs assessment of local government officials to help improve service delivery and government accountability in the NUDEIL districts of Uganda. Frost is doing the work as her final Capstone project before graduation in May.

Clinton School graduate Rina Meutia works with the World Bank in her home city of Banda Aceh ,Indonesia. Banda Aceh was devasted by the Asian Tsunami in 2004. During her years at the Clinton School, Meutia organized relief efforts for a group of orphans who had lost all of their family members during the tragedy.
