Steven Person, Director of Technology for the Clinton School of Public Service, has been named to the 2023 list of Men on a Mission by Little Rock Soirée magazine and Arkansas Business Publishing Group.
The list is composed of 25 men who are changing the way people do business and life together in Central Arkansas.
Person joined the Clinton School in 2015, and is credited with modernizing all aspects of the school’s technology operation, including fiber optic internet access, laptop performance and mobility, and improved classroom accessibility. He has served on the selection committee for the Center on Community Philanthropy’s Advancing Equity Award since 2018.
Person was chosen as the class speaker and president of Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXXVIII, a nine-month community leadership program designed to develop effective leaders by enhancing their civic, social, and professional awareness to positively impact our community.
“Striving for greatness is something I’ve always believed in,” Person told the group at its graduation ceremony. “Being a leader is more than about how you speak and how you dress, because at the end of the day, it’s not on you, it’s in you. At the end of the day, it’s not about you, it’s about others. In order to be a good leader, you must be able to follow.”
