Posted by student JULIANNE DUNN – As part of the Clinton School Class of 2011 Orientation, student groups introduced their year-long Practicum projects to their classmates by designing campaign posters. The only requirement was to create a professional poster with a slogan that illustrated the work they will be engaging in this year. The students then voted on their favorite design. The Arkansas Service Commission poster won with the slogan “Arkansas grows through service.”
The Class of 2011 will be completing practicum projects in Little Rock, Marvell, Pine Bluff, and Newport. The students will be working with Arkansas nonprofits and governmental organizations including the Arkansas Service Commission, Goodwill, Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families and the Arkansas Department of Human Services, Division of Youth Services.
Details of the Practicum projects will be announced next week.
