Posted by ERIC WILSON – With student orientation just around the corner, Clinton School faculty and staff are preparing for our fifth class. CLICK HERE to read the 36 students’ bios. Part of that preparation includes organizing the 2009-2010 Practicum Projects.
As soon as the students arrive they will be introduced to this year-long field service learning course that gives them the opportunity to work in teams for an Arkansas organization and apply skills learned in the classroom. We have not announced this year’s projects, but you can CLICK HERE to review last year’s projects exemplifying the type of work the students do outside the classroom.
Dean Skip Rutherford, Associate Dean Mike Hemphill, Marie Lindquist, director of field service education, met today with representatives from the organizations the students will be working with. We plan to announce the projects in the near future. Lindquist is pictured below leading the meeting.
