Posted by ERIC WILSON – Charles Connor, president and CEO of the American Lung Association (ALA), visited the Clinton School today to deliver a lunchtime lecture titled “Fighting for Air.” The nation’s oldest voluntary health association, ALA fights lung disease in all its forms, with special emphasis on asthma, tobacco control and air quality.

Before joining the association, Connor served as senior vice president for communications and marketing at the American Red Cross where he participated in major events such as Hurricane Katrina, the Asian Tsunami and an overhaul of the organization’s governance structure.

For those of you unable to attend, Connor’s presentation will be available in the coming days at www.clintonschoolspeakers.com.
