Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – While we’re sure that you have better things to do on a Friday night than sit at home and watch C-SPAN, you might want to set your Tivo at 7:00 p.m. to record the last installment of the network’s series on Presidential Libraries. C-SPAN’s cameras will be live next door to us at the Clinton Presidential Center for a full library tour. Also airing will be what we’ve heard is a great interview with President Bill Clinton conducted earlier this week by C-SPAN CEO Brian Lamb.
Here’s a link for more on tonight’s program: http://www.c-span.org/presidentiallibraries/.
UPDATE: The 2-hour segment on the Clinton Presidential Center was very well done. And as expected, the interview with President Clinton was an extensive look into his thoughts and ideas surrounding the building and operation of the library. Topics discussed include the controversy surrounding the release of presidential records, Osama bin Laden, impeachment, the library’s new “green” roof, and of course, the Clinton School. If you missed it, you can watch the interview online at c-span.org: http://www.c-span.org/presidentiallibraries/president.aspx?ID=42&Program=TV#Player
