Professor Headed to South Africa to Present Evaluation of Fellowship Program

Clinton School Professor Dr. Al Bavon will present at the Academy of Management’s first non-North American conference on Jan. 7-10 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Bavon’s presentation will relate to an evaluation he conducted of the McLarty Global Fellowship program in Ghana. The program, which dealt with women’s business and empowerment issues, was completed during  the summer of 2012.

The program included Clinton School students and faculty along with students and faculty from the Sam M. Walton College of Business and the J. William Fulbright College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Arkansas in partnership with Vital Voices.

Scholarship support was provided by former White House Chief of Staff Mack McLarty and his wife Donna.
