Project Citizen

Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – The Clinton School today hosted the statewide competition for “We the People: Project Citizen,” a curricular program for middle, secondary, and post-secondary students, youth organizations and adult groups that promotes competent and responsible participation in local and state government.

Several student groups presented solutions to issues facing their community to member of the Clinton School faculty for evaluation. From school funding to environmental awareness to economic development, the students discussed ways they would go about tackling tough issues facing their communities. All of the participants should be commended for their outstanding work.
