Richman Visits Clinton School

Travel Channel star Adam Richman, host of “Man v. Food” and author of a new book about food culture, visited with a group of students Tuesday before giving a lecture in the Clinton School Speaker Series.

Richman discussed his educational background (Emory University undergrad and Yale Divinity School) and his successful career as a television host and author.

Richman’s new book is “America the Edible: Why We Eat, What We Eat, Where We Eat,” which explores the ethnic, economic and cultural factors that shape people’s eating habits and how food reflects American culture.

In his Clinton School lecture, Richman discussed the ethnic and cultural aspects of some of his favorite American food cities, including his home of Brooklyn, New York.
