Rutherford to Deliver 2020 Presidential Election Discussion at UA Little Rock Downtown

University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service Dean James L. “Skip” Rutherford III will deliver a 2020 Presidential Election Discussion at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 5 at UA Little Rock Downtown.

Rutherford’s discussion will be held two days after Super Tuesday, when 14 U.S. states across four time zones will hold primary elections and caucuses.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Rutherford received the Journalism Department’s first Distinguished Alumnus Award. He has an extensive private sector background in communications and public relations and has served as a visiting professor at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Lyon College, the University of the Ozarks, the University of Central Arkansas, and was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters Degree from Hendrix College.

From 1997 until it opened in 2004, Rutherford supervised the planning and construction of the Clinton Presidential Center and Park.
