Rutherford to Take Part in Senior Expo Discussion Panel

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Senior Expo, set for Saturday, September 14, will include a panel discussion with Clinton School Dean James L. “Skip” Rutherford III along with John Brummett (Arkansas Democrat-Gazette), Arkansas Senator Missy Thomas Irvin, and Sylvester Smith (National Federation of Independent Business/Arkansas) with moderator Rex Nelson (Arkansas Democrat-Gazette).

The panel discussion is on political issues concerning seniors and will run from noon to 1 p.m.

The Senior Expo is free and caters to seniors and baby boomers 55 years and older, as well as their family and caregivers. There is information on health care and wellness as well as products and services that would be beneficial for everyone. It will feature health screenings, prize giveaways, and sessions on managing pain and cancer screenings, among others.
