We know it’s spring at the Clinton School when the cherry tree, dedicated to former Associate Dean Tom Bruce, on the north side of Sturgis Hall begins to bloom.
Bruce was named dean pro tem at the school’s inception in 2003 and became associate dean in June of 2004, planning and implementing the school’s unique academic curriculum in its Master of Public Service (MPS) degree program.
The first Cherry Tree in the 30-acre Clinton Park, the Yoshino Cherry Tree is the famous tree of the annual National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, D.C.
