Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – At the Clinton School this morning we hosted an inauguration day watch party for students, faculty and staff. The morning was kicked off with an Inauguration Puzzle Competition designed by Little Rock District Judge and puzzle enthusiast Vic Fleming.
Clinton School Dean Skip Rutherford asked Fleming to create the crossword activity to generate dialogue at the watch party. The result is what Fleming has termed a “multi-puzzle problem” entitled “A Man, His Plan and……” consisting of a crossword, a “jumble” and some creative clue-writing. Letters from the crossword solution must be arranged to produce an apt phrase for Inauguration Day.
If you’d like to try your hand at the puzzle, follow the link for instructions: instructions.pdf. Read them before starting the puzzle. Follow the link for the puzzle: inaugurationpuzzle.pdf. We’ll post the solution a little bit later.
Congrats to students Joanna Klak and Jennifer Hicks who teamed up to win the competition.
