Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Clinton School student Idonia Trotter will receive a public service honor from the UALR Bowen School of Law, where she is also a student. Later this semester, Trotter will become the first student to complete the joint Master of Public Service (MPS) and Juris Doctorate (J.D.) program at the two schools.
Trotter will receive the award at the Bowen School’s first ever alumni scholarship luncheon on April 16. We at the Clinton School are extremely proud of Idonia’s efforts both in the classroom and in the field. She completed her international project in Belize where she worked to expand legal rights for women. The Pine Bluff resident is developing a “Teen Court” and “Drug Court” within the city’s juvenile courts system for her final Capstone project.
The Bowen School will also honor Congressman Vic Snyder, an alumnus, and Lynn Foster, a faculty member.
