Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – We just announced the 2009-10 Clinton School Practicum (group) public service projects which will take students across the state to work on issues such as nonprofit management, children’s advocacy, urban development, adult literacy, volunteerism and community development.
The Class of 2011 will complete 12 projects — seven statewide and five in Little Rock, Marvell, Newport, North Little Rock and Pine Bluff. They will partner with government and nonprofit organizations such as, the Arkansas Service Commission, Goodwill Industries, Arkansas Literacy Councils, Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families and the Arkansas Department of Human Services, among others.
