Students Report on International Projects

Posted by BEN BEAUMONT – Recently returned from traveling all across the world, the Clinton School students today discussed their summer International Public Service Projects in a series of panels at Sturgis Hall. From evaluating an early childhood development program in Cape Town, South Africa, to promoting women’s literacy in Kathmandu, Nepal, and fostering youth leadership in Calcutta, India, the students discussed the lessons they learned and work they performed this summer. Beginning in May, the students were based in 15 different countries representing each of the world’s six inhabited continents. As part of the Clinton School’s “hands-on” curriculum, the students partnered with a host agency to complete a public service project for academic credit.
