Metropolitan Bank Executive Virgil Miller and Clinton School Dean Skip Rutherford will once again team up to raise money for KUAR/KLRE, the Central Arkansas affiliates for National Public Radio. They will be broadcasting live on Monday, October 11 from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Over the past several years the tandem has raised in excess of $100,000 for NPR via small donations.
The Clinton School has a strong connection with KUAR/KLRE. Public Programs Director Nikolai DiPippa hosts the weekly show “Clinton School Presents” featuring interviews with participants in the Clinton School Speaker Series.
Malcolm Glover, a Clinton School inaugural class graduate, is a news reporter/anchor for the station. Glover traditionally hosts the news desk during the time Miller and Dean Rutherford appear.
