The State of Children’s Health in Arkansas

Posted by ERIC WILSON – “What are we doing for the kids in Dumas?” asked Dean Skip Rutherford in 2006 at an Arkansas Children’s Hospital board of directors meeting. That question led to the production of a comprehensive report identifying the health needs of Arkansas’ children, including the ones in rural areas like Dumas.

Arkansas First Lady Ginger Beebe and ACH president and CEO Dr. Jonathan Bates spoke at a press conference at the Clinton School earlier today, announcing the second edition of this study.
