This fall, the Rotary Foundation named two new Rotary Foundation Global Grant Scholars at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, first-year students Demas Soliman and Arjola Limani.
Each student will receive a scholarship of $40,000 that can be used to cover academic fees, round-trip airfare between the recipient’s home and study cities, reasonable living costs, language training, and some educational supplies.
“The Rotary Foundation is a fantastic organization that recognizes scholars from around the world, and we are most grateful for their support for two Clinton School students,” said Clinton School Dean James L. “Skip” Rutherford III. “I am also personally appreciative of those Rotarians from Arkansas who have been instrumental in this process.”
The sponsor of the grant is Rotary District 6150, District Governor Paul Ford in cooperation with 12 Rotary Districts in the United States.
Scholars who receive this award are still eligible to receive additional funding from other sources.
