Posted by ERIC WILSON – If you have ever visited the Clinton School or attended one of our many public lectures, you most likely met one of our volunteers. This past year, over 100 volunteers donated their time and services to our School. From helping us seat hundreds of guests for each lecture to making our international students feel more at home, our volunteers play a huge role. Earlier this week, the faculty, staff and students hosted a reception in honor of their hard work and presented each volunteer with the Clinton School’s first official lapel pen. Associate Dean Mike Hemphill clarified in his remarks that “volunteering is the bedrock of public service.” He is absolutely right.
