Posted by student CHAD WILLIAMSON – We Are the Champions! Well…we did it! Another come-from-behind win in the semifinal game…very intense! The finals proved to be another nail biter that ended in the bottom of the 10th inning with a 3-2 SOB victory!
Although I would love to go into the details of an unbelievable day, you had to be there. It started at 12:00 p.m. and ended at 7:00 p.m., after a celebration and a very generous outpour of congrats, including a championship cake provided by Mrs. Billie Rutherford.
We had great support from other Clinton School students. Thanks to Class 2, Class 3 and Class 4 for coming out to cheer us one. Another great day of the Clinton School experience! The most thanks goes to Bob Gee and the Clinton School volunteers as our official sponsors. Mr. Gee has been our No.1fan and we love ’em. We’ll defend the championship next year.
