Clinton School Dean Skip Rutherford hosted a reception Wednesday to welcome Todd Shields, the school’s new interim dean for academic affairs.
Among those attending included representatives from the Arkansas Department of Higher Education, the University of Arkansas System, UALR and the William H. Bowen School of Law. Dean Shields was also joined by the Clinton School faculty.
Shields is also serving as the interim dean of the Graduate School and International Education and director of the Diane D. Blair Center of Southern Politics and Society at the University of Arkansas.
He’s served on the faculty at the UA for a number of years, including a stint as chairman of the Department of Political Science.
