Following Campaign Trails

Posted by student JAMES MITCHELL- Following the campaign trail across Iowa has been an amazing experience. I’ve gotten the chance to meet Democrats and Republicans in small towns and big cities all across the Hawkeye State. There have been inspiring speeches and unique moments throughout.

Cold weather notwithstanding, the trip has been great.

But to borrow a quote from the venerable scholar Johnny Cash, I’m ready “to set my feet on Southern soil and breathe that Southern air.”
