Connor Flocks (Class 13) has been hired as a Research Analyst in Deloitte’s Government and Public Service consulting practice in Washington, D.C.
Joanna Klak (Class 4) is working for the Wielkopolska Region Development Fund, established to support the development of the region and offer financial support for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises. Since July 2018, she has served as the Director for Financial Instruments.
Nate Looney (Class 6) has joined the development team at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Chanley Painter (Class 4), a former deputy prosecutor and television reporter with KARK in Little Rock, has accepted a correspondent position with the new Court TV.
Emilie Street (Class 12) was recently promoted to Outreach Director at Give and Surf, a nonprofit organization that operates to provide sustainable support to the local communities of Bocas del Toro, Panama, through education and community development. Street spent the summer of 2017 working with Give and Surf for her International Public Service Project.
Regina Taylor (Class 4) has joined Arkansas Foodbank as its Chief Community Initiatives Officer. In her new role, Taylor is responsible for strategic planning and oversight of all community initiatives activities. This includes Volunteer Engagement and Food for Kids programming.
Brandon Treviño (Class 12) recently joined the Arkansas Department of Human Services Division of Behavioral Health Services as a program coordinator, helping to carry out of tasks for the State Targeted Response to the Opioid Crisis Grant (STR) and the State Opioid Response Grant (SOR), as well as assisting the program manager of the Drug and Alcohol Safety Educational Program (DASEP) and Specialized Women’s Services (SWS). He joins his brother Andrew Treviño (Class 12), State Targeted Response to the Opioid Crisis Project Director at ADHS.

Heath Carelock (Class 6), who serves as Program Director for the Financial Empowerment Center at Prince George’s Community College, played a major role in the county’s efforts to support federal workers during the government shutdown.
Fernando Cutz (Class 6), spoke to PBS NewsHour about Brazil’s new president, Jair Bolsonaro. Cutz recently joined The Cohen Group as a senior associate following six years with the federal government.
Allison Meyer (Class 9) is one of three presenters on “Authentic Cleveland Experiences” at the city’s annual conference, Accelerate 2019: Citizens Make Change. Meyer is enrolled at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
Britney Sink (Class 7) has been named to the Knoxville News Sentinel 40 Under 40. Sink is the Executive Director of Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children of East Tennessee.

Sanford Johnson, a 2009 graduate of the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, is the Deputy Director of Advocacy at Mississippi First, a nonprofit focused on education policy and advocacy that produces and provides resources to help raise public awareness around key education reform issues in Mississippi.
Clinton School of Public Service graduate Jordan Butler is working as a project leader with Refill Café, a restaurant that doubles as a workforce training program for young adults in Butler’s hometown of Jackson, Miss.
Ross Owyoung, a 2018 graduate of Clinton School of Public Service, was recently announced as Director of UA Little Rock Downtown, an extension of the UA Little Rock campus in the heart of the River Market.
