Nick Cartwright, a student at the Clinton School of Public Service, has been selected to participate in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Ithaca National Student Dialogue at the University of Delaware.
Cartwright joins a select group of student leaders from across the United States chosen for the national event. Hosted by the SNF Ithaca Initiative at the University of Delaware’s Joseph R. Biden, Jr. School of Public Policy & Administration, the event brings together distinguished students to engage in civil discourse, hone public policy skills, and address pressing challenges facing higher education and local communities.
“It is an honor to be selected to join other distinguished students from across the country,” Cartwright said. “I am excited to be able to network and learn from others on important topics we face as students and public servants.”
Throughout the dialogue, delegates participate in interactive panels, practice bipartisan policy formulation, and collaborate on actionable solutions centered on key themes: fostering campus civility and navigating the rapid rise of artificial intelligence.
“This event will be a chance to engage with other students on policy solutions to major topics on campuses and in communities across the U.S. — civility and artificial intelligence,” he said. “We will not only engage with each other but hear from panels and get a chance to practice the skills of dialogue and crafting policy in a bipartisan manner. I am looking forward to the discussion and policy around AI because my Capstone project is focused on research regarding how AI is being used in schools by teachers and students.”
