Congratulations to Clinton School alumnus Malcolm Glover who received first place recognition in the interpretive radio category from the Arkansas chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ).

We recently heard from Clinton School grad Mike Townsend who will soon lead a trip to Ethiopia as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village program. Townsend’s group will work to build simple, affordable housing for those in need there. Here’s a note from Mike and ways you can help:

In more alumni news, Governor Mike Beebe has appointed recent Clinton School graduate Sarah Argue to the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

In her post, Trotter will lead efforts to work with the 12-member commission, state government and health care leaders to improve minority health by improving education, awareness and accessibility within the state’s health care system.

Recent Clinton School graduate Amanda Harris has accepted a job as a training coordinator with the Harm Reduction Coalition, an organization promotes the health and dignity of individuals and communities impacted by drug use.

Chancellar Williams is pictured above in between two of his classmates on graduation day (April 25, 2009). We just receive news that Chancellar accepted a position with the Media and Democracy Coalition (MDC) as their program and outreach manager.

Guzzardi spent the last semester completing his Capstone project with Kissinger McLarty Associates, an international consulting firm in Washington, D.C.
