Five graduating students from the Clinton School of Public Service were honored for their academic excellence and public service leadership during an awards reception on Friday, May 9, at Sturgis Hall.
Academic Awards
Evanna Ojeda received the MPS Academic Award, presented to a student in the Master of Public Service degree program.
Shea Mahoney-Sutherland was honored with the Clinton School Online Academic Award (CSO), recognizing a graduating student from the online degree program.
Voted on by the Clinton School faculty, the academic awards recognize students who demonstrate a deep understanding of the program’s knowledge, skills, and values—and the ability to apply them across the curriculum and in their public service projects.
Founding Dean David Pryor Public Service Awards
Brighton Huynh (MPS) and Stephanie Williams (CSO) were selected as the recipients of the Founding Dean David Pryor Public Service Awards.
These honors are given to students who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to public service throughout their time at the Clinton School.
Dr. Tom Bruce International Student Prize
Penelope Nortey, a graduating international student, received the Dr. Tom Bruce International Student Prize.
Established by the late founding Academic Dean Tom Bruce, the prize is awarded annually to a student from outside the United States who has made visible contributions to world peace during their time at the school.
