At the suggestion of Jason Grumet, president of the Bipartisan Policy Center in Washington, D.C. who spoke at the Clinton School in November, the Clinton School student body used the New York Times’ interactive federal budget tool to create a suggested list of proposed cuts, reforms and tax additions to the budget which, collectively, would lead America to a balanced budget by 2030.

The State of the Union
Dean Rutherford asked Clinton School students in his class to draft a paragraph they would like to see President Obama include in his State of the Union message Tuesday night. The students gave Dean Rutherford permission to share these recommendations.

More than 40 Clinton Schools students gathered today for an informal lunch with the Little Rock staff of the Clinton Foundation. It was an opportunity for students and staff to visit and get to know one another. The Clinton Foundation does work around the world in areas such as alleviating poverty, improving health and protecting the environment. The Little Rock office also hosts special events and exhibits in conjunction with the Clinton Library.
