The projects are part of our Practicum program, which takes students into the field to complete for-credit public service projects in the Master of Public Service degree program. – Three students from the Clinton School are working to create an advocacy guidebook for Arkansas’s nonprofit sector. Hallie Shoffner of Newport, Latif Salem of Afghanistan and Valerie Hendrix of Antoine, Ark., make up the team partnering with Arkansas Coalition for Excellence (ACE) on the project. Read more…
Clinton School students to partner with Arkansas Baptist College on urban renewal initiative
– Three Clinton School students are working with Arkansas Baptist College on revitalization efforts in the community surrounding the college’s campus. The team is working closely with college president Dr. Fitz Hill and his staff to develop a comprehensive model for urban revitalization efforts to be replicated in communities supported by Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) nationwide.
