Posted by student JAMES MITCHELL- Against better judgment I’m going to lay out my predictions for tonight’s Iowa caucus results.
Based solely on the feeling I’ve developed while following the campaigns across the Hawkeye State for the past week I will predict:
Democrats:
Obama
Edwards
Clinton
Republicans:
Huckabee
Romney
McCain
Having made those picks I would like to add that I think it really will be a razor thin margin between the top three Democrats. It’s an incredibly tight race here and many Iowans are having a difficult time deciding between them.
As for the Republicans, I would imagine that Huckabee and Romney will be the obvious victors. While McCain is surging in Iowa and New Hampshire I haven’t seen the level of support for his campaign that Huckabee and Romney are commanding. Paul and Thompson should be non-factors.
