After waiting in line for nearly 30 minutes I was turned away at the initial checkpoint that leads to the checkpoint to get a press pass. If there were a red rope involved I would swear this was L.A. With only a slightly dented ego I was able to straighten out the miscommunication among the CNN staffers and take my place in line with the media for credentials pick up.
