Our sixth class has officially kicked of its Clinton School experience. The 32 new students gathered Sunday night at Sturgis Hall for a meeting and reception to mark the start of orientation. The students heard a history of the school and a welcome from Dean Skip Rutherford. Orientation activities will continue throughout the week.

The Nepali Times, a respectable newspaper in Nepal, has published an article written by Jeerawat Na Thalang (’11) about her impressions during her international project this summer in Nepal. Jeerawat, a native of Thailand, has written about the women’s empowerment efforts she witnessed during her work with Rural Education and Development (READ) Global in rural Nepal.

Student Helps Improve Children’s Behavioral Health Care in AR
FYAN is a coalition of Arkansas organizations, families and caregivers that work in children’s behavioral health. The resource center’s goal is to provide information, resources and referrals to consumers while also working to establish advocacy and training networks throughout the state.
