Arkansas Artists Calendar

Arkansas First Lady Ginger Beebe signed copies of the 2009 Arkansas Artists Calendar Sunday at the Clinton School. In addition, several of the artists whose works appear in the book were at the school to also sign copies and visit with guests. Over 135 books were purchased—making it the largest single Artist Calendar book sales event to date.

Congrats Ben and Claire!

Ben Beaumont, the Clinton School’s director of communications and Claire Bennett, a medical student at the University of Arkansas School for Medical Sciences, were married Saturday evening. The wedding reception took place in the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center–next to the Clinton School. Several Clinton school staff members, alumni and students joined in the celebration.

District Superintendent Visits Clinton School

Former Little Rock School District Superintendent Dr. Roy Brooks spoke to our Leadership class yesterday. After reviewing a case study on the tenuous relationship between Dr. Brooks and the Little Rock School Board, the subsequent discussion revealed a vacuum of information. This prompted my classmate, Chad Williamson, to suggest inviting Dr. Brooks to address the class.
