The Climb it for Climate fundraiser on Thursday was a big success. I raised plenty to help purchase solar powered stoves for the Bolivian families I will be working with this summer.

Well, we squeaked out another victory. With the game tied 3-3 in the bottom of the 6th inning, Ashley Davis drove in the winning run with two outs on a squeeze play at home. It was a tough day in the thick mud but we continued our winning steak at 14 straight.

Socks, America’s most famous presidential cat, has died. Socks lived in the Clinton White House from 1993-2001 after making the move with the Clinton family from Little Rock. On my visits to the White House, I would frequently see Socks who spent a great deal of time in Betty Currie’s office, next to the Oval Office.
