Lydia Grate has been selected as one of 30 Foreign Affairs Campus Coordinators by the U.S. Department of State. The Foreign Affairs Campus Coordinator Program is designed to create a network of State Department student contacts on college campuses across the nation.

Second-year student Ralph Bray has been announced as the recipient of the Randall Mathis Scholarship from the Arkansas Environmental Federation.

Second-year student Demetrious Jordan has been announced as the recipient of the Little Rock Nine Foundation scholarship at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.

Second-year student Brenttia Clayton has organized a Virtual College Readiness Academy through her own small business, Teachable Moments, and in partnership with REAL Scholars, an Arkansas nonprofit dedicated to providing educational services and youth empowerment.

Megan Grubb (’20) is working as a Community Developer with Atlas Community Studios, an organization based in Des Moines, Iowa, that assists rural communities to plan for growth through collaborative strategic planning and simple, realistic plans.

Ophelia Akoto and Amanda Cruce have been awarded International Public Service Project Scholarships from the Lauren T. Remedios Foundation for their field service projects this summer.

Tim Campbell (’21) recently participated in an event hosted by the U.S. Embassy in Tokyo, presenting on topics including the civil rights and Black Lives Matters movements and women and youth activism.
