Abraham Kahasay is working with the Arkansas Peace and Justice Memorial Movement, conducting research to help the Little Rock-based organization implement a Community Remembrance Project across Arkansas. The work is part of Kahasay’s International Public Service Project.

Kam Gomez is working as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Central Arkansas Library System, researching best practices to help in launching a free co-working space that promotes workforce development and entrepreneurship.

Tamara Bates is working with Full Circle FarmCorps, an AmeriCorps program that promotes food security and strengthens communities through farming, teaching, and outreach.

Jacob McGuire is working with Partners in Knowledge as part of his International Public Service Project. McGuire, who recently completed his first year at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, is developing and implementing the burgeoning organization’s grant strategy.

Tim Campbell, who recently completed his first year of academic work at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, has been announced as a member of Governor Asa Hutchinson’s Task Force to Advance the State of Law Enforcement in Arkansas.

Kate Jenkins, a native of Memphis, Tenn., who recently finished her first year of academic work at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service, is partnering with LIV Lanseria on her International Public Service Project.

Lydia Grate has been announced as a member of the 2020 B.A. EmpowHER cohort, a program created by the B.A. Women’s Alliance for women who are bold, unapologetic, and ready to spark change.
