Thanks to our new graduating class, the Clinton School halls received the addition of a beautiful framed world map, which signifies our commitment to global leadership. For their class gift, Class 2 students chose this map which also honors outgoing Associate Dean Tom Bruce and former faculty member Bob Torvestad who were both instrumental in the students’ commitment to international service.

While we have our graduation festivities in December, the MPS degree is actually a two-year program (though it can be completed in 18 months) so some of our students will be completing their capstone (individual) projects over the next few months before embarking on their professional careers. Graduation also brought back about half of our inaugural class and it was good to see them. They are working across the state, the country and the world.

It’s graduation week here at the Clinton School, and we are putting the final touches on plans for Friday’s commencement ceremony for our 22 graduates in the Class of 2007. It’s a week of both fun and hard work as the students complete their final Capstone projects, the faculty grades and gives final exams and the staff prepares for the events surrounding graduation.
