Clinton School Softball

After a successful run in kickball last season, Clinton School students have turned their attention to softball. Led by Coach/Manager Dimas Espinola of Class 4, the team is called the “LRFF (Little Rock Film Festival) Reel Rockers.” Team member Jack Lofton of Class 5 is executive director of the fillm festival. United We Serve

The signing of the Serve America Act in April marked tomorrow, Sept. 11, 2009, as the first National Day of Service and Remembrance, which will be recognized by acts of volunteerism and public service across the country. With the theme, “United We Serve,” this event is meant to remember those lives lost on that fateful day eight years ago and encourage Americans to recommit to service in their communities.

We just announced the 2009-10 Clinton School Practicum (group) public service projects which will take students across the state to work on issues such as nonprofit management, children’s advocacy, urban development, adult literacy, volunteerism and community development.

The members of the Class of 2010 recently returned from their International Public Service Projects (IPSP) where they worked with organizations this summer on all six inhabited continents. Today, they presented their work to students, staff, faculty and partnering organizations.

Practicum Project Posters

As part of the Clinton School Class of 2011 Orientation, student groups introduced their year-long Practicum projects to their classmates by designing campaign posters. The only requirement was to create a professional poster with a slogan that illustrated the work they will be engaging in this year.
