Clinton School faculty and staff welcomed the incoming Class of 2011 on Sunday night with a reception at Sturgis Hall. The 36 new students heard from Clinton School Dean Skip Rutherford as they kick of a full week of orientation activities before beginning class on August 24.

IPSP Update: Turo Helping AIDS Orphanage in Uganda

I have been spending this summer completing my IPSP with the Nyaka AIDS Foundation in Uganda. One of Nyaka’s most successful components has been its Grannies Project, which has mobilized more than 6,000 women in two districts. After having lost their own children to HIV/AIDS, many of these women have stepped up raise their grandchildren, the next generation of Ugandans.
