Jerry Springer of chair-throwing TV talk show fame, gave a very engaging lecture last night at the Clinton School about the state of the middle class in America today. Springer, a self-proclaimed liberal, waxed eloquently about the constant battle between America’s liberal and conservative political movements.

While in years past I treasured the excitement of voting on election day, several years ago I unexpectedly had to go out of town and barely made it back in time to cast my ballot. From that point on, I have done my best to vote early — particularly for primary and general elections.
